What it does
A model of the Roland JC-120, the solid state combo introduced in 1975 and known for clean tone. The amp panel carries a bright switch, volume, treble, middle, bass, a distortion control, spring style reverb and the onboard vibrato and chorus with depth and speed. Behind it sit a pedal page with noise gate, compressor, tempo syncable auto swell and fuzz, five cabinets, three mic types with position and distance, a three mic mixer including an ambient room mic, and a rack of delay, EQ and compressor.
In the demo
Jade plays three prerecorded guitar parts through it in Logic, one clean, one chugging and one lead, using only the built in effects, then runs the pedals, cabinets, mics and presets.
Worth knowing
This is a redesigned interface for Nembrini, and Jade flags that presets now take an extra menu press and the panel closes on selection, so she uses Logic’s side panel instead.
