IR Loader

What it does

An impulse response loader for guitar and bass cabinets. A loaded IR runs through a modelled EL34 push-pull power amp with volume and presence, a desk compressor with a sidechain high-pass filter, a bass enhancer and a parametric EQ with a spectrum display. A and B channels hold two versions of a sound for comparison, and Nembrini cab presets ship with it.

In the demo

Jade runs it in AUM behind Rhino, then behind Nembrini’s free Black Pedal, so the app becomes the only paid part of that chain. She loads Marshall and PV Bandit cabinet IRs from two free packs linked in the description, swaps in captures named after metal bands, and finishes on an acoustic guitar through Taylor, Yamaha and Takamine IRs.

Worth knowing

It loads IRs, it does not create them, and it has no amp or distortion of its own, so something has to feed it. The EQ lives on a page you toggle to rather than under the main view, which Jade flags as a waste of screen space. Placed after a sim that already models a cabinet, the sound gets muddy and breaks up.
