What it does

A parallel compressor that keeps the clean and crushed signal inside one plugin rather than across two tracks. A crosshair pad sets compression amount on one axis and the wet to dry balance on the other, with auto gain riding the output. Attack, release and ratio sit below, next to colour controls: punch, harmonics, which saturates only the compressed signal, shape, a scooped EQ on the dry side, tilt, and low and high preserve, which keep the frequency extremes out of the compressor.

In the demo

Jade opens with instances across drums, bass and synths in AUM, strips back to one drum loop, then takes each control alone, running attack and release to their limits so the transients vanish and return. She ends in GarageBand on a snare and a bass.
