What it does
A five band EQ aimed at guitar, with the bands placed across the range a guitar occupies and gentler peaks than a general purpose EQ, so neighbouring bands interact instead of cutting surgically. It adds a low shelf, a high cut shelf, an output level, a randomize button, and a Buzz Kill filter for the 50 Hz and 60 Hz hum that single coil pickups pick up.
In the demo
Jade puts it in front of ANALOGyAMP in AUM and works the Buzz Kill on a guitar that hums, then moves between presets, a subtle mid scoop, a tilt, a mid boost and a bright setting, switching the EQ in and out over amp presets so the change is audible on one part.
Worth knowing
The moves are deliberately small, so anyone expecting surgical notching or dramatic shelving will find the range narrow. It is built to sit in front of an amp sim rather than to work as a general mix EQ.
