What it does
A resonator that models the inside of a wheelie bin, drawn as a schematic of one. A mix control sets how much of the bin sits in the signal, a cavity section with two positions shapes the space, and a size control stretches it until the effect starts behaving like a pitch shifter. The mic stage offers dynamic, condenser and ribbon types, placeable at the centre, cone or edge or switched off, which leaves it working much like an impulse response loader. A low, mid and high EQ and an output gain finish it.
In the demo
Jade puts it on a Hammerhead kit, a live vocal through an SM58, an electric guitar, a bass and a piano played from Scaler. The presets carry heavy low end and enough gain to distort, which she uses for gravelly vocals without the feedback a real mic and amp would give.
Worth knowing
Parameters are exposed for host automation in AUM or Cubasis, but not in GarageBand. Anyone wanting a clean room reverb is in the wrong place.
