What it does
A transient and dynamics processor aimed at drums, with one row of controls: input drive, saturation, output level, attack, hold, release, depth and color, where color sweeps from a low pass on the left to a high pass on the right. A small display shows the waveform changing, an EQ section sits behind its own button, and presets run from tight and loose through fast release, saturated tube, snappy and compressed.
In the demo
Jade puts it on a GarageBand Drummer track to take the box out of the kit, then on the separate snare and kick tracks of one of her own songs, pushing saturation until the snare ring comes forward and winding attack and release past where the kicks lose air. In AUM she runs it on an 808 and 909 app, EG Pulse and DigiStix, and on distorted guitar, which it is not built for.
Worth knowing
The window cannot be made full screen. Jade points to the low CPU draw as the reason it can sit on every drum part in a GarageBand project without the usual crashes.
