What it does
A resonant filter that stacks up to 32 peaks or notches across the spectrum and lets a MIDI keyboard set their frequency, so a sustained sound gets played like an instrument. Peaks can be spaced logarithmically, harmonically or evenly, with controls for grain count, bounds, offset, phase and a sweep. A Delta control removes the dry signal, and a four-slot effects chain adds distortion, compression, bit crushing, delay and filtering.
In the demo
Jade starts on white noise from a generator, then moves to a looped fireplace recording and a felt piano, switching between the internal and MIDI filter modes. She wires LFOs, envelopes, a pitch tracker and macros with MIDI learn, and sets a modulation wheel destination.
Worth knowing
It is a MIDI effect, so it loads on top of an instrument and needs sustained material to chew on. There is no Mac version, and anyone after a straightforward corrective filter will find the modulation depth here beside the point.
