What it does
A monophonic virtual analog synth that makes one drum or percussion sound at a time. Two tunable oscillators each carry their own decay, pink and white noise sit under them with decays of their own, and a low pass filter, a high pass filter, an envelope that pushes the cutoff up or down, drive and volume finish the chain. A slider sets which MIDI note triggers the sound, and a second slider sets a note that chokes its tail.
In the demo
Jade runs four instances in AUM, maps each to its own note and drives them from Octachron, so the kit is assembled from separate apps rather than multi outs. She rebuilds the idea in Logic by splitting a Drummer region by pitch, then plays the presets, which include effects and CR-78 style percussion.
Worth knowing
There is no sequencer and no full kit, so building one means an instance per sound. It loads fast and sits light on CPU, which is what makes stacking instances practical.
