What it does

A drum machine whose sounds are synthesized rather than sampled, with 18 engines across two kicks, two snares, two hats, toms, claps, rimshot, conga, ride, cowbell, block, crash and a tunable tonal pad. Each pad has its own synthesis controls plus sub, exciter, tilt EQ, saturation and a send to one master reverb, and can duck under any other pad. A step sequencer adds per-lane speed multipliers, a chance dial and ratchets. Everything randomizes, with locks, and every parameter is exposed to the host.

In the demo

Jade routes pads to separate buses in AUM, remaps the pad notes for a Launchpad and saves that map, then builds a kit by randomizing and dialling in individual engines. She sets the hats ducking under the kick and runs an external LFO into the tonal pad’s frequency.

Worth knowing

It is a direct port of the desktop version, so the text and buttons are small. In this build the MIDI drag button crashes the plugin, tapping the pads does not record notes into Logic or GarageBand, and presets do not store sequences.
