What it does
A physical modelling simulation of the Hammond B3 tonewheel organ, with nine drawbars each for the upper and lower manual plus a pedalboard. Key click and drive set the circuit character, and there are three vibratos and three choruses, a swell and a reverb. The signal runs into a choice of amp and cabinet models with a rotary switch for slow, stop and fast, microphone balance and distance, then bass and treble. Sixteen factory programs ship in a bank with room for thirty two, and settings split the keyboard into lower and upper, set global tuning and change how the sustain pedal behaves.
In the demo
Jade recalls the factory programs one at a time, then works through the cabinets and moves the rotary between slow, stop and fast. She pulls the microphone in and out, pushes every drawbar up to hear the shift, and loads it as an AUv3 over a part already recorded in GarageBand.
Worth knowing
A MIDI map page lists every assignment with its CC number, channel and value range for an external controller. A cloud service for swapping programs and MIDI maps would not connect during the demo.
