What it does
A bank of 11 presets for Pro-A5 Synth, AudioKit Pro’s 10-voice analog-style polysynth for iPhone and iPad, added in a free update. Jade built the pack herself around the darker side of Twin Peaks, and most patches use the mod wheel to pull in pitch shifts, noise or a detuned second layer.
In the demo
Jade plays each preset from the bottom of the Pro-A5 preset list in AUM, reading the comment notes stored with each patch. Wrapped in Plastic, Log and The Sycamore Tree are single-note leads and drones, Robins and Laura flip character when the mod wheel comes up, and Falling holds a C to trigger the sequenced title theme.
Worth knowing
The pack needs Pro-A5, which was $5 at recording with a price rise announced for the following week. These are mood pieces for cinematic and ambient work rather than a general-purpose bank.
