ChannelStrip LE

What it does

A free channel strip built around a modelled tube stage. There is an input gain, a tube control for drive, bass, mid and treble, an output volume, oversampling up to 16 times, and a small oscilloscope. Presets save inside the plugin, and every parameter is exposed to the host so the controls can be automated or driven by an LFO.

In the demo

Jade loads it on a 12-string guitar patch played from Scaler into PianoTeq, adding a little grit with the tube control before pushing the gain far enough to hear it break up, then working the three EQ bands.

Worth knowing

The whole plugin is seven controls, aimed at quick tone shaping rather than detailed correction. Anyone needing parametric bands, a compressor or a gate in the same strip will want something larger.
