What it does
A drone synth built from eight FM voices that modulate each other through a routing grid. Each voice carries pitch, fine tune, level and a morph dial running from sine through triangle and saw into noise. Diagonal cells make a voice feed back on itself, and an evolve section mutates the grid in wander, breathe or decay modes over up to ten minutes. Seven topology presets, a resonant body, saturation, width, reverb, drift and eight snapshots with a 30 second glide fill out the rest, in a full layout or a narrow strip.
In the demo
Jade sings live over it in AUM, then rebuilds from an empty patch with seven voices silenced so each control is audible. She tunes voices to a scale, assigns them to keyboard keys in play mode, and glides between snapshots.
Worth knowing
It makes sound loudly the moment it loads, and Jade says it is based loosely on the Soma Lyra 8. The custom matrix has no clear-all, and random can leave a patch somewhere there is no walking back from. Desktop is $19 from the developer.
