What it does
A multi-touch synthesizer with no keyboard and no knobs. Parameters are driven by where fingers land, how many are down and in what order, plus device motion through the gyroscope and, with an Apple Pencil, force and altitude. 185 patches ship with it, and each one exposes the modules behind it, so an FM oscillator feeding an amp mod, wave shaper, phaser or resonator can be opened and rewired. Settings cover tuning, polyphony, transpose, key and the touch grids, and a long PDF manual is built in.
In the demo
Jade plays it standalone and works through about 25 of the 185 patches, showing how dots stay where she first touches and then fire back and forth in the order she placed them. She finds the multi screens, where the surface splits into blocks each holding its own patch, then loads it into AUM as Inter-App Audio with Blackhole after it.
Worth knowing
It is not an AUv3, so hosting runs through Inter-App Audio. Jade had owned it a day at the time and calls building patches from scratch a steep curve.
