What it does

A virtual analog synth with two mixable oscillators, noise, detune and spread, an FM option, envelopes, filters and LFOs that can be sent almost anywhere. Polyphony reaches 20, and a mode button flips any preset between poly, solo and arp. Patches can carry an A and a B sound with the mod wheel sweeping between them. An effects panel of distortion, chorus, phaser, rotary, delay and reverb docks over the on-screen keyboard to reclaim the space.

In the demo

Jade shows it in Logic on an M1 Mac, then in AUM on iPad. In the standalone she installs the free community preset banks from the web library, MIDI learns the master amp knob so she can ride wildly varying preset levels, then works through the arp editor and plays a long run of factory and community patches.

Worth knowing

The web library loads only in the standalone app, not the AUv3, and bank order cannot be rearranged. Community banks vary a lot in level. The app dates from 2011 and the layout shows it, though it stays very light on CPU across many instances.
