What it does

A ten-voice polyphonic analog-style synth modelled on the Prophet-5, running standalone or as an AUv3 on iPhone and iPad. Two oscillators with saw, triangle and pulse, a sub and noise, feed a filter that switches between a stepped Rev 3 ladder and a smoother modern mode, with poly-mod, sync, unison, per-voice panning, an arpeggiator, a 16-step sequencer and effects including tape delay, chorus, crush and a second, larger reverb. Over 400 presets ship with it.

In the demo

Jade opens with five instances in AUM playing her own patches, then works through an init preset in AudioKit’s tabbed layout. She spends the longest on poly-mod and key tracking, makes the filter self-oscillate and tune itself, and closes with random factory presets and her own Twin Peaks set.

Worth knowing

A later update added microtonal tuning: curated scales listed by notes per octave, Western scales with a root note, Scala file import from the free Wilsonic app, and a lock that keeps one tuning while you audition presets. Feed it chromatic notes from a MIDI app and they remap into the chosen tuning. It is iPhone and iPad only, no desktop version.
