Nocturne LoFi

What it does

A generative lo-fi ambience player with named scenes, each mixing a slow beat or melody with environmental texture such as rain, a cafe or a train. Controls cover mood, tempo, tone, space, motion, stereo width and ambience, and a seed produces new variations. The standalone adds sleep and focus timers and audio export; the AUv3 adds a step sequencer with host tempo sync.

In the demo

Jade tours the scenes in standalone, exports a clip, then loads the AUv3 in AUM. It follows the host BPM and runs quiet, so she drops the tempo and adds gain before building a sequencer pattern from scale degrees and rests. She finishes by feeding the export into Reverie.

Worth knowing

Jade reports crashes when tapping the lower buttons in standalone, and the Mac version is listed as untested. It is a background generator rather than a playable instrument.
