What it does
A two oscillator synth with a filter, three assignable LFOs and a small effects section holding tube amp, tube delay and reverb, plus an arpeggiator. Presets sit in lead, bass, FX and pad banks, plus a user bank. Any LFO can be pointed at any knob, and its shape can be drawn freehand rather than picked from a list.
In the demo
Jade plays through the lead and bass banks, draws her own LFO shapes on screen with a pencil, and stacks LFO on LFO to push a patch further. She saves favourites as she goes, then loads Mynth as an AUv3 in GarageBand and records parts into two of her own project sketches.
Worth knowing
At the time of the demo the app was not holding save states, and Jade’s user presets did not appear inside the GarageBand instance. Anyone wanting deep menu diving will find the panel deliberately small.
