What it does
A model of the MF-107, which is an oscillator rather than a filter or delay: the incoming signal sets the oscillator going and can hard sync it, so the source note steers a new tone rather than being processed by one. Waveform, frequency, FM amount and an envelope follower shape the result, with mix against the dry signal. Frequency and level are CV targets, so other Moogerfooger instances can drive them.
In the demo
Jade runs it on the same synth part, switching waveforms and moving the frequency so the oscillator tracks and then deliberately fights the source. She pushes FM amount into noise, sets the envelope to open the oscillator with each note, and later patches an LFO from another pedal into its frequency.
Worth knowing
It replaces the input tone more than it colours it, which suits sound design more than mix work. Sold separately from the other pedals.
