What it does
A four-operator FM synth modelled on 1980s Yamaha hardware, with engine modes for the DX series, the FB-01 and a raw parameter mode. Up to eight patches can be layered or split across MIDI channels, each with its own volume, pan, unison, detune and polyphony, and the bundled banks run to thousands of presets. Effects include hall, room and plate reverbs, delays, reverse gate, distortion and several choruses.
In the demo
Jade plays a short AUM project, then works through the layers, edit, play and settings tabs from her Arturia keyboard, showing aftertouch, the engine switch changing the operator set, and the zoom setting that enlarges the interface.
Worth knowing
The default interface is small; Jade leaves it that way until she finds the zoom control late in the video. She skips SysEx import and hardware patch transfer, so those are not shown.
