What it does
A polyphonic virtual analog synth modelled on the Roland Juno-106: dual oscillators with square, saw, sub and noise plus pulse width modulation, a resonant filter, ADSR, LFO, arpeggiator and tremolo, flanger, chorus, delay and reverb. Its physics engine runs up to eight scenes where a bouncing ball, shaped by gravity, speed, impulse and bumpers, modulates almost any parameter. Version 2.0 adds preset per note and a preset ribbon.
In the demo
Jade works the beta of 2.0 standalone, starting from her own Juno-style patch. She runs the front panel and effects, then builds a physics scene from scratch and sends it to the LFO, the delay time and another scene’s speed. She assigns different presets to individual keys and stacks a ribbon of patches to tap between.
Worth knowing
The on-screen keyboard cannot be hidden. Preset lock behaved inconsistently in the beta she used. Anyone after a plain Juno emulation gets that here, but the physics side is the point.
