DRC

What it does

A virtual analog polyphonic synth with two oscillators, a sub and noise section, LFOs, filters and a mixer, plus built in delay, reverb and chorus and an arpeggiator. It runs standalone or as an AUv3, and the keyboard along the bottom switches to a chord layout that opens into a full screen view. MIDI learn maps any control to hardware, patches sync across devices through Imaginando’s cloud, and expansion packs load into the same preset browser.

In the demo

Jade reinstalls it first, so the demo opens on what arrives before anything is unlocked: the factory bank and the nag screen asking for the synth engine. She tours the panel quickly, flips presets between mono and poly, then moves into AUM and lets Zoa play through the Factory Expansion and Sounds from Outer Space packs while she adds Blackhole over the top.

Worth knowing

This is a sound tour rather than a walkthrough of the engine, and Jade says she will come back to the controls in another show. In the demo the app downloaded free with the synth engine and the sound packs sold as in-app purchases; it now sells as a paid download.
