What it does
A synth aimed narrowly at decaying cinematic pads, drones and atmosphere, running standalone and as an AUv3 on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Rather than oscillator pages, it offers a scan button that builds a new patch behind the panel and a handful of named macros over the top: fog for filtering, halation for saturation and harmonics, sodium for slow drift, spray for noise and pressure for low-end weight. Two paths bias what a scan produces, clear for steadier tones and obscured for grittier ones, with a wild toggle that drops those rules. Envelopes run to twenty seconds, and there is a hold button and an on-screen keyboard.
In the demo
Jade plays it live in AUM against Playbeat and Spacewalk, scans repeatedly to show how different the two paths sound, then walks each macro on a held note and wires an external LFO to the hidden parameters.
Worth knowing
A lot of the depth sits in the host’s AUv3 parameter list rather than on the panel, so reaching veil, haze or drift means an LFO or a hardware controller. Undo covers one step. Anyone wanting note-level control over oscillators will not find it here.
