What it does
A chord-tile sequencer that outputs MIDI only. Chords sit as tiles on a freeform canvas, you draw paths between them with a pencil tool, and each tile carries its own play mode (hold, stutter, arp, motifs, random), duration, gate, velocity, strum, ratchet and chance. Voicings, inversions, extensions and modal interchange are edited per tile, and scenes chain into a song with per-path MIDI channels.
In the demo
Jade runs three instances in AUM sending chords to a piano, motifs to a guitar and hand-drawn bass notes to a bass, then rebuilds a progression from scratch on one instance to show tile editing, the play modes and the scene chain.
Worth knowing
The chord palette cannot pinch-zoom, so large chords need scrolling to see every note, and saved projects cannot be duplicated. It makes no sound of its own, so it needs a synth or host instrument to play into.
