What it does
A recreation of the Yamaha CS01, a small battery powered 1980s synth, with modern parts bolted on. Two oscillators cross fade into one another, an FM knob adds a sine modulator across both, and there is a resonant filter with key follow, an ADSR, an LFO routable to oscillator or filter, tone buttons and switchable circuit or overdrive distortion. Delay, reverb and chorus follow, plus a modelled speaker, a tempo locked side chain, a battery knob that degrades the sound, a Re-Gen patch generator and 500 plus presets.
In the demo
Jade builds her own init patch by double tapping every control, then walks each section in order, finishing on the battery control wound to one percent for broken lo-fi tones. She runs presets by category and shows the parameters exposed to host modulation in AUM.
Worth knowing
Controls are tiny, a one to one port of the desktop layout, which Jade flags as awkward on a phone.
