What it does
A compact monophonic virtual analog synth, the successor to ANALOGyXS, built from two oscillators plus a sub and noise. A shape switch steps through saw and square variations that the mod wheel reshapes as you play, detune runs in off, manual or auto modes, and the pitch bend range is switchable, with one setting that bends into a harmony rather than a straight interval. Glide stretches from a short portamento to a full sweep, and a filter with mod and contour, an attack, sustain and release envelope, spread and drive finish it.
In the demo
Jade opens with a project built from recordings of the synth layered in Circa, then works across the panel dial by dial, pushing glide to full and riding the mod wheel over the filter. She plays the presets, which run from thick square basses to screeching leads, and drives it from Way Maker.
Worth knowing
It plays one note at a time, so chords are out, and there are no built-in effects, which is what the rest of an AUv3 chain is for.
