What it does
A two oscillator subtractive synth built on the AudioKit framework, running standalone and as an AUv3. Each oscillator has its own waveform and detune controls on one page, with a second page holding filter, tremolo, chorus, phaser, flanger, delay and reverb. There are 97 presets split into short stabs, pads, leads and bass, plus a user bank, MIDI learn, 12 voice polyphony and settings for buffer size, key velocity and wheel range.
In the demo
Jade plays it from an M-Audio Code 49, working down the preset list so the small differences between neighbouring patches are audible. She then loads several instances into AUM, where three sit at about ten percent DSP and six at roughly thirty.
Worth knowing
Levels are uneven between banks, with the bass presets much louder than the pads at the same key velocity. The mod wheel appears routed to chorus with nothing in the app stating so. iPad only, and it does not open at full size in AUM.
