What it does
An eight-voice horror synth wrapped in a DOS terminal interface with an animated ASCII skull. Fifteen synthesis engines cover detuned unison, FM, ring modulation and inharmonic partials, run through drive, bit crush, glitch, a filter, noise, a comb reverb called Crypt and a Doom macro. It runs standalone and as an AUv3 instrument with 15 presets.
In the demo
Jade plays a layered horror soundscape in AUM, then strips each preset back to bare oscillators so the engines are heard on their own before working through every control on the panel. She modulates it from an external LFO app and pairs it with a reverb and a piano app.
Worth knowing
The skull’s mouth closes with the release time, which runs long at high settings. There is no preset save inside the app, so states are saved through the host. Jade notes Mac support is listed but untested. A later Halloween update added another synthesis engine and a seasonal skin, with the full change list kept inside the app.
