What it does
A Commodore 64 emulator written from scratch in Swift, each chip modelled from the original hardware documents: a cycle-accurate 6510, a cycle-based VIC-II, a 1541 drive with its own processor so fastloaders and protected disks run, and both SID revisions. It loads .prg, .d64, .g64, .t64 and .crt files, saves states, and adds CRT filters, border modes, a touch keyboard and a movable on-screen joystick.
In the demo
Jade drags the three system ROMs into the app’s folder in the Files app, then types a BASIC loop straight from her Magic Keyboard, which feeds the emulator directly. She pairs a PlayStation controller over Bluetooth and loads Ghostbusters, Spy vs Spy and a multi-disk title from her own collection.
Worth knowing
It is not a music app, and Jade says so in the first minute. You supply the ROMs and the games yourself; the app lists the four files it needs and ships with none of them. The keyboard layouts do not include Australian.
